Behind the scenes at Ancare Veterinary Hospital, you’ll find Midge — the clinic’s lovable black cat and full-time food investigator. Known for keeping the veterinary team on their toes, Midge takes her role in the hospital very seriously… especially when snacks are involved.
Midge can often be found patrolling the staff lunch area, supervising employee meals, or attempting to sample the other cats’ and dogs’ food around the hospital. Her favorite treats include lettuce stolen from sandwiches, whipped cream, catnip, and — on occasion — an entire slice of pizza she somehow manages to race away with dangling from her mouth.
Her hidden talents include unzipping lunch boxes, opening cabinets, and expertly claiming computer keyboards as her preferred nap spot during busy days at the hospital.
While Midge loves all of the doctors and veterinary staff at Ancare Veterinary Hospital, her favorite human is undoubtedly Dr. Stephen Dullard. Together with her adopted brother, Tater, Midge helps bring comfort, laughter, and a sense of calm to the team every day.
Despite her mischievous personality and talent for stealing snacks, Midge is often the calm in the storm during busy days at the hospital. Whether she's napping on a keyboard, supervising lunch breaks, or simply keeping the staff company, she has a special way of brightening everyone's day.
Midge considers herself incredibly lucky (even as a black cat) to spend her days at Ancare with her adopted brother, Tater, and the people she loves most.
