Veterinary Assistant

Position: Veterinary Assistant (Soon to be a CVT)
Education: Graduated from Serena High School in 2019. Currently attending Joliet Junior College where she is enrolled in the Certified Veterinary Technician Program with plans to graduate in the Spring of 2023.
Hobbies/Special Interests: Ashley enjoys fishing and camping. She also enjoys developing her photography skills in her spare time.
Pets/Family: She currently has an 8 year old chihuahua/rat terrier mix named, Bella along with 2 female rats named Remy and Lucky. I have 2 sisters, Haley and Brandy.
Why I love working with Animals / Why I love my Job: I love my job because no two days are the same. The veterinary field is an extremely rewarding field to work in because you get the opportunity to develop relationships with both clients and patients. At the end of the day, the Ancare team all has the same goal which is to ensure all patients are receiving the best care possible.
