Position: Veterinary Assistant
Educational Background: LPHS graduate and current student at UIUC
About Me: Animals, especially exotics, have always held a special place in my heart. This growing passion over the years has led me to a pre-vet second year undergraduate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying Integrative Biology Honors.
Favorite thing about my job: I love the constant learning curve of being in this field. Every day there are always more opportunities to learn something new and develop my skills.
Special Interests: In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at Illinois Valley Animal Rescue (IVAR), the place where my passion for working with animals really sparked. I also like playing the bass guitar, a hobby I have been exploring casually for about 6 years.
Fun Facts: I have two little rambunctious ferrets named Cinnamon and Pepper.
